missing ‘Colour’ and ‘Background Image’ in the theme customization menu

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

I just set up a new site on a new host today and installed Vantage Premium, but I found the ‘Colour’ and ‘Background Image’ options are missing when I tried to customize the theme. It works fine on the other site of mine on another host. Any clue why did that happen?

    Hi Away86

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The regular background image and color settings are only available when using the “Boxed” layout version of Vantage. Vantage “Layout Bound” can be set from Appearance > Theme Settings > Layout > Layout Bound.

    Hope that helps explain a little of what’s going on. In full width you can access similar options from Appearance > Customize > Theme Design > Page.

      Hi Andrew,

      Thanks for getting back to me.

      It works. Thanks, but I have another question if you don’t mind.

      I’m using Woocommerce and the Vantage them, I find on the checkout page, the sidebar was supposed to be on the right / left, but it actually goes under the checkout form. Any clue for fixing this problem?

      Regards,
      Wei

    Let’s try the following at Appearance > Custom CSS to hide the sidebar on those pages:

    /* WooCommerce */
    .woocommerce-cart #secondary, .woocommerce-checkout #secondary { display: none; }

    Hope that helps.
