Migration from local PC to server

Pages created with Siteorigin pagebuilder are empty once migrated

I am trying to find the quickest way to migrate sites from my PC to a bluehost server. I have tries the following 3 methods:
1. Move files and replicate database manually. Pages created with siteorigin have some content… but no siteorigin panels or structure. When I click on the pagebuilder tab when editing the page it asks if I would like to move all that content into a panel (something like that?)
2. Move files and replicate database manually and then export and import wordpress xml file. Same as above except now alot of the content is duplicated. Still same problem with pages created using siteorigin pagebuilder.
3. Duplicator. Pages created with Siteorigin pagebuilder are blank. I have managed to duplicate a website to a different directory and website on my same local PC. Works perfectly… I needed to changed the page created with pagebuilder to not be a “front_page” template. This seems to affect it for some reason.

Can you help me figure out why this is happening. I can provide you with access to the duplicated site.

Kind regards

Shei

    Hi Shei,

Sadly we’re unable to provide support for migration issues due to the complexity of them and due to them requiring the use of third party plugins or methods we don’t recommend. We recommend the Duplicator plugin so it’s quite odd you were having issues with that.

Consider trying a manual export and import by opening each page and manually exporting the Page Builder data. To do this open your page, click the layouts button in the page builder toolbar and select Import/Export from the sidebar. Then click download layout. Do the same for importing it but this time upload your previously exported layout.
