Migrated Site expire session/preview issues

11 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 11 years ago

Hi,
I have migrated my site and fixed some db entries and that gave me a lot of headache.
While I’m at the ‘/wp-admin/customize.php’ my user expires the authentication and its not possible to preview the updates under this page.
Other similar issue, I can not preview updates for pages or posts through the “View Changes” button under “post.php” page. Can you guys help me?

    Hi Vítor

    Thanks for your support.

As you may have read and found out there are some significant challenges to migrating Page Builder data. The two methods we recommend are WordPress XML Import/Export which I know, requires a lot of other work to first setup the new site OR the Duplicator plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/.

With regards to the specifics of your question, I’ll need to ask Greg to step in here and answer as I’m not sure. We’ll be with you ASAP.

Got it resolved. That was a file permission issue. Thanks anyways.
Have any idea about the difference between IE and Chrome when loads the CSS using vantage? On IE the fonts and other settings are being ignored….

Glad to hear you made progress here, thanks for the update.

Can you perhaps send through a link to the site and I’ll take a look. Besides font selection what else is IE not rendering?
