Meta Slider reverting to demo repeatedly

After migrating my test WordPress site to our production site, I’ve started encountering a periodic issue where the selected item in the Home Page Slider drop down menu is changing by itself from my ‘Homepage’ slider to the original ‘demo’ slider that ships with Vantage. I never encountered this while developing the site in the test subdomain.

I’ve only noticed this happening when I am doing some sort of maintenance on the site, but I’m not customizing the theme settings or doing any work on the meta slider, just normal page maintenance.

I cannot determine what is causing it, or how to prevent it. I am working under a Child Theme.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Shaddix,

    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at your setup?
    So, to clarify, the settings don’t have the demo slider selected, correct? You can double check this by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsHome and then checking the slider setting.
