It’s badly optimised for mobile and I’m trying to remove it using a media query. I’ve tried the CSS given in other posts and it’s not working in either Appearance / Editor / CSS or Custom CSS. I’m testing on iPhone 6 and Google Page Speed. It is slaughtering mobile performance and Vantage won’t give us the option to use better sliders. Help please :).

Thanks. It’s stopped displaying (bit of a delayed reaction from inserting the code earlier) but the images are still being called/loaded on the mobile browser and I’m still getting red flags on Page Speed, even though nothing is displaying.
Got you. Unfortunately that snippet is using CSS so it’s only handling front end display. Not calling the slider on mobile or providing the option to not display it on mobile isn’t something we have in Vantage at the moment. As you mentioned, it doesn’t sound like Meta Slider offer this either. You could perhaps chat to them on their support page about the best way forward in this regard.
I’ve marked this thread as a feature request as this is a good idea for a theme setting.
Thanks, I’ll try. I also think you guys need to look at this. We’re locked into Meta and it’s killing mobile performance, which Google are now taking into account. They need to sort their code or you guys need to give us other options for sliders that are mobile ready.
