Meta Slider on blog main page?

Is there a way to add a meta slider at the top of the blog main page? I have used a small meta slider image at the top of all my pages throughout site, so I want the look to continue when someone clicks on the news and events (blog) page. This is a slider image that I would like at the top of the main page, before all the posts are listed. Please let me know if this is possible.

    Hi Adrienne

    On your Blog page you can either select a slider from the right column MetaSlider drop down menu OR you can create a blog page by selecting any page template other than Blog and then using Page Builder to insert a Post Loop (PB) widget, this will let you insert regular content above the blog loop.
