Hi,

I am using Vantage premium.
I have installed MetaSlider Pro.

The page that shows my blogposts has an option to add a slider like all the other pages.
When adding slide nothing happends.
How can I get the slider to show?

Last questions about this subject was answered about 2 years ago so I hope you have a solution today,
so we can run a slider a the op of our blogpost page.

All the best,
Kindest regards,
Linda Carlén

    Hi Linda,

Okay so when you define a page as the recent posts page (ie. blog), WordPress converts that page into a sort of archive-esk page. This mean that the meta slider functionality will not work as it’s only set up to work for pages, not archives. This is the same reason why making changes to the content on the blog page doesn’t appear.

Now, to resolve this issue you’ll need to recreate the blog page. Please navigate to WP AdminSettingsReading and change the Recent Posts page to — Select —. Then open your blog page and enable Page Builder. Add a post loop widget and open it. Set the template to Blog Loop and then save. How does that look?

By the way, as you’re a premium user, you’re entitled to priority email support. If you would like to make use of that, please follow the instructions found on your Page: Dashboard. Please reference this thread and include your SiteOrigin order key in the email.
