Hello,
I have a dutch website with Vantage Premium and Meta Slider installed. In Meta Slider I have a few slides with a hyperlink. Those hyperlinks works perfectly in Internet Explorer when I have chosen the Boxed feature of the theme.
But when I have the theme set to full width I can’t click on the images in Internet Explorer, this works in Google Chrome perfectly.
Do you know how to solve this problem?
Hi Kjell
What version of Internet Explorer are you using?
I am using the latest version of IE. Don't know the version number exactly.

Hi Greg,
I have found the information you was looking for.
I am using Internet Explorer 11 on my Windows 8.1 PC.
Thanks for the feedback. We’ll do some testing and come back to you ASAP.
Hi Daniel
Thanks for reporting this. Braam has managed to resolve the problem for us. The fix will be included in the next Vantage update which we expect to be released in the next one to two weeks. You can either wait for the update or with a little effort, fix now. If you’d like to fix now you’d need to download the following file:
https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jquery.theme-main.min_.js
Once saved to your desktop, upload via FTP or hosting File Manager to the following location:
/wp-content/themes/vantage/js/
Hi Andrew,
I have changed the file in my FTP but with no luck.
The problem is still the same.
Sorry, I just noticed there is an underscore at the end of the file name. I tried to re-upload but it looks like WordPress, our installation, is adding the underscore on upload.
To resolve, please check your server. Do you have:
jquery.theme-main.min_.js
and
jquery.theme-main.min.js
in the JS folder? If so, delete jquery.theme-main.min.js and then re-name jquery.theme-main.min_.js. Just remove the underscore at the end.
Make sense?
I just found this thread and I’m having the same problem. I uploaded the new file into the js file and I’m still having issues exclusively in Internet Explorer. When the slider is not full width, it works fine. Any thoughts as to what my site’s issue is?
