Menu with anchors does not work on other pages

9 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 9 years ago

Hi there,
I’m using page builder and the NorthTheme.
I set up a homepage with anchor-links and the menu as well. Everthing works fine.
BUT the anchors don’t work on other pages or the blog-page.
The links send me to wrong rows of the homepage.
Regards, TOM

Found the problem: If you want to use anchors linking to another page (e.g. homepage), then DO NOT use the SiteOrigin Hero Widget on the target page!! Why? I don’t know. Maybe SiteOrigin can tell us.
(May be: JS conflicts when loading the target page)

I set up my site with a long homepage, some other pages and a blog-page, but used a menu only with anchor links, which is shown on all pages.

    Menu-link:

    Row-Settings-Attributes:
    anchorname without #

Hope I can help you with the same problems, because without Premium Support, you are lost.

    Hi Tom,

I’m not able to replicate the issue you’re having with the hero widget. Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.
