Hi,
I got a really weird scenario going on at the moment.
Menu:
I have created a new page and want to add it to my footer menu but every time i select that page and attempt to add it the refresh page kind of points to a stats page although i end up at the nav_menus.php in the url, I have tried creating a new menu and the same problem occurs when trying to add pages to it.
Page editor:
When I select edit the window opens up and the wheel just spins. If i try and convert the new page i created and the select page editor and edit it also throw me to this stats page
I did do a siteorigin widget update and a cookie law info update prir but not sure if these are related as I have disabled the plugin but still same effect.
I have tried the above on IE 11 & Chrome – both current versions.
Any ideas where to start looking?
thanks
Hi Madnutter
Thanks for the long wait. Sorry, we weren’t able to reply sooner.
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Please, start by running all pending updates at Dashboard > Updates. Next, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
Hi, got my ISP to restore the files after I posted and it cleared up all the issue. But since then I have installed any updated plugins one by one and the symptoms have not re occurred..
You can close this.
Thanks
Awesome. Really glad to hear you made progress. Thanks for keeping us updated.
All the best with your site.
