Menu transform and hover effects

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

Sorry for the other thread with same question and no premium number

Hope all is well.

I’m nearly done with my site now and It really does look nice… The last thing I would like to try and do is add a similar effect to the menu-scroll effect on this site: http://kottongrammer.com. I’d like it larger, then shrink, and I’d also like to be able to put my number in it.

and secondly,

How do we activate hover effects, like i see in the site origin social and call to action widget?

    Hi Zach

    The Vantage header, unfortunately, doesn’t support scaling at this time. It would be a custom development job to add scaling on scroll.

    The Vantage Logo in Menu removes the header widget area. You could perhaps add a phone number as a menu item. Perhaps link it to the phone number using the tel: link format:

    I’m not quite following your question regarding hover effects. Are you asking about hover effects for the main menu? There aren’t any that I know of beyond the regular hover color which you have selected.

    There is a check box for hover effects within the those two site origin widgets: social and call to action (for the button part)…

    And for the menu bar, could I make it like ‘full width stretch’ so that the logo and menu were closer to the outside margins?

    And thanks for the link.

    Sure. To make your menu go full width, give the following a try at Custom CSS:

    /* Full Width Layout 100% Page Width Menu */
    body.responsive.layout-full #page-wrapper header#masthead .site-navigation .full-container {
      max-width: 100%;
    }

    Hover effects for those widgets refers to a hover state for the button. If your buttons aren’t changing on hover, let us know which page to check out and we’ll take a look.
