Menu text shadow?Remove?

There appears to be a shadow effect on the menu text. I can’t seem to find anything inspecting the menu though with Firebug. Does anyone know how to remove it? Or am I seeing things?

    Hi Torndownunit,

    I don’t want to say you’re seeing things, but you’re kind doing exactly that. :) Don’t worry the contrasting default colours may have this effect on certain people (I’ve heard this once however) – it’s perfectly normal.

    Thanks for the reply. So this text has no effect on it whatsover? It just does not look flat at all.

    Hi Torndownunit,

    You see, that looks flat to me. However, that’s not exactly the default menu so it couldn’t hurt to check it for you. Could you please send me a public URL where so I can take a look at your menu? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hi Torndownunit,

    I’ve taken a look at your menu CSS – there are no shadows on the text. To prove this I made the following screenshot of one link without shadows, and one with. Please note that the one with shadows is about the lowest shadow you can produce using CSS.

    Please don’t feel too bad about this btw. This seriously can be easily mistaken by people and I honestly don’t blame you for thinking it had a shadow. If there’s anything else I can help you with today, please feel free to open a new thread.
