I am trying to use the Mega menu to create a Mega horizontal menu and have a couple of questions as I am not sure if their tutorials etc are out of date.
First is to do with Menu locations as they save to amend the CSS to create another menu location available under Menu Settings.
I believe you say Advantage can only have 1 menu location also their example seems to be different to whats’ in advantage. Or is the plugin not supported?
If it helps I am have a menu like in the following tutorial especially the contact link at circa 1.46 mins.

With Vantage you should be able to assign Max Mega Menu to the theme’s Primary menu location. Here is how the assignment should work: https://imgur.com/a/qofTWu3. Are you having any problems with this initial step?

Many thanks and just for ref I was using it on the site we have previously speaking about.
When I first installed it I used the Primary menu(default) when I selected a menu option the “drop down” area showed no content and was transparent.
I was not sure if that was because of my using transparency on other rows because of the fixed background image.
Tomorrow I will start the process again and see what happens and get back to you.

Just reading my notes and I think I better clarify which mega Menu plugin I am attempting to use.
It is the “”AP Mega Menu”” by AccessPress themes
It says it has not been tested with my version of WP 5.2.1-en_GB

As I said I will give it a go and see what happens. I will contact their support to check issues as well and let you know how things go if they say it is the theme

Super, thanks for the update. Unfortunately, from our end, we’ve only tested and prepared for Max Mega Menu and UberMenu. Hope you’re able to make some progress :)

Understand. FYI I went on line using their chat facility at 9.24 am (UK) and still waiting to connect to someone.
I have also emailed support on WP.org but understand they may no reply until tomorrow.
I only decided to look at this for the reasons I mentioned, presentation of the drop down.
I will have a look at those 2 you mention but I think I already did.

For sure :) Max Mega Menu is probably the best free option I can think of.

I haven’t had any support replies from the other menu plugin so I had a look at the Max Mega Menu plugin you mentioned.
Thank you very much as I have decided to go with that a my initial testing seems to be gong well.
I just need to see how certain aspects can be changed (menu background colour and fonts)
