    Also I forgot to mention I want to be able to do this on my home page.

    Hi Brydon,

    You can do this with some custom CSS. If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Add the following CSS:

    .home .hgroup, .home .main-navigation {
    	z-index: 10000;
    }
    .home .site-header {
    	position: absolute;
    	left: 0;
    	right: 0;
    }
    .home #sticky-container .main-navigation {
    	background: rgba(52,53,56,.5) !important;
    }
    .home .main-navigation {
    	background: none !important;
    }
    .home #main.site-main {
    	padding: 0 35px
    }
    .home #search-icon #search-icon-icon {
    	background: rgba(52,53,56,.5);
    }

    You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.
