    Hi phil

It looks good on my side. If you create a demo page with lots of lots of demo text you’ll see it work more obviously.

The sticky menu is unfortunately disabled on mobile devices. We do have a pending feature request to introduce this as an optional setting, it hasn’t yet been introduced.

My page does not work but sticking menu works fine when I try your demo site.
    what gives?
    Thanks

None of your pages are very long so it’s not easy to see the sticky menu in play. Have you tried creating a very long sample page to test the menu?

    Hi Phil

I resized my browser window as small as it would go and tested on your home page. When there’s enough content to scroll down, the sticky menu appears to be working on your site.

I am sorry, I might of given not enough information for you to realize.
    Let’s recap.
    1. Using desktop sticky menu DOES work fine in our page as well as your demo page. (NO problem here)
    2. Using iPad or mobile device. (This is where the difference comes…)
Our site menu does NOT stick
    Your demo site DOES stick
What makes your site STICK but not ours
Is your demo site using unsupported feature(s)?

Thank you for looking into this matter.

    Hi phil

    * The sticky menu is unfortunately disabled on mobile devices by default.

    * The sticky menu is disabled on mobile devices using a WordPress core feature that detects if the device is mobile.

    * We realise there is a demand for this feature to be enabled on mobile. We have this logged as a feature request it will be rolled out in the next update of Vantage.

    * The demo doesn’t have any features not available to you. What we have occasionally seen is some Vantage sites ignore the sticky mobile menu setup and are sticky on mobile. This is the case with the demo. We don’t know why at this stage.

    * What we can do right now is offer a child theme that will resolve this for your site. Please find it below:

    https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/vantage-child-sticky-menu-mobile.zip

Download the ZIP to your desktop and install from Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme. Activate.

Activating a child theme will cause Customizer and Menu options to reset. Once you’ve confirmed the child theme is working for you, you’ll need to redo those settings.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you for clear the air for me.
Can you tell me about when this feature roll out will be?
I would like to decide what to do based on the release date.

Hopefully before the end of the year. The child theme fix I provided is pretty quick. Just open Appearance > Customizer beforehand. Then switch to the child theme in another tab. That way you can manually copy your settings over.

Be sure to test the child theme before re-setting the Customizer and menu settings.

    Just to let you know.
I applied child theme that you gave me.

Menu is still not sticking at least on my Droid mobile.
I did not have chance to test it on iPad or iPhone, yet.

    Thanks

That works. But I have small problem. I will start a new thread.
