Hi there. I’m really hoping you can help me. I’ve been working along fine on the Vantage theme but all of a sudden the menu and the round icon area of the home page (and the other pages) is no longer working. It looks like the old days when we had to code menus and forgot an end bracket somewhere. What did I do??

Update: The problem seems to be coming from the update to the 1.2 version and the premium upgrade. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the theme several times now and as long as I don’t update or upgrade it seems to be fine. Any ideas/suggestions?

Sorry to hear about this hassle. It’s hard for me to tell what’s gone wrong without seeing the problem in action. Do you perhaps want to try run your upgrade again and I’ll take a look after that. You can enter your order number under Appearance > Vantage Premium: Already Paid? button top right and follow the prompts from there.

I just ran the premium upgrade and it seems to be holding for the moment. I’ve recently just went through a DDoS attack and had to rewrite the whole site (my own fault…I didn’t back up). I’m not sure whether the menu issue was coming from the theme, or the other security files that I had to install. For now, it’s holding as it should. I’ll be working on it again through the day so if it collapses again I’ll post another message. Thanks for getting in touch!
