I am building my website with Vantage and Page builder.
During the process, I had 2 sample pages (beispiel-seite and test-seite).
Now I notice that in the menu, the link to the page “home” in fact goes to “beispiel-seite” wich meanwhile I have deleted.
I have searched and searched and can’t find a way to correct this.
Can you help me with that?
Thanks in advance!
Susanne
Hi Susanne. I´m working on my own Vantage-project. Maybe I can help?
Have you tried this (German terms for localized WP):
Dashboard > Design > Anpassen > Statische Startseite (ganz unten) > im Dropdownmenü unter Startseite die gewünschte Seite auswählen.
Hi Susanne
I’m not entirely sure why this would be happening (maybe something is being cached somewhere), but If you create a custom menu, you’ll be able to add what ever to it.
This guide is for WordPress.com, but it applies to self hosted WordPress too.

Hi Tom,
thank you! Yes, I have tried that and it does not fix the prob :-(
Hi Greg,
thank you too!
I resolved the problem – created a new page “start” with the clone of the home page made with page builder.
Then I took of the “home” page from the menu and inserted the “start” one.
Done :-)
(then I remarked that I had simply the wrong “home page” in the menu (confusion)…
Everything is ok now.
Great support, thanks you both are there!
Hi Susanne
Glad to hear you managed to resolve the challenge here. All the best with your project.
