For some reason, the main navigation menu item widths are all fixed at the same width (regardless of workd length) and I am wanting variable width.
I have reviewed the forum for similar threads and have tried several things – I am not a CSS newbie – but this has me stumped. It was not doing this for me at first, but a colleague reported it while previewing it on his end. Then, today, it started appearing this way for me as well.
Here is an example site from a similar thread submitted by another user (I want my menu to function like this one): http://dialog-leader.com/
Any help is appreciated.

Hi johnnyodesign
Thanks for reaching out.
This isn’t what I’m seeing on my side, OS X Chrome. Your first three menu item widths are: 93, 95, 216px respectively. Did you perhaps make progress since posting? If you’re still seeing the problem please take a screenshot, upload it your Media Library and post a link and we’ll take a look.
It ,appears to be working now. I have previewed it in Firefox, Chrome, Safari in OSX, Windows 7, 8, Vista, as well as IE, and both iOS and Android mobile platforms (by the way, this is a beautifully simple theme that especially looks great on mobile devices – nice job.
I am assuming it was a cache issue. I was pulling my hair out because it would not update and I could not find anywhere in the CSS that would attribute fixed widths. I had cleared browser cache, so maybe it was a server cache thing? Who knows? It’s working now. Thanks!
Super, thanks for your feedback here. Glad to hear Vantage is working out and this problem is resolved.
All the best for your project.
