I’ve recently bought the UberMenu plugin but have since realised it doesn’t automatically integrate with Vantage as I would like it to. I’ve been trying to manually install it by replacing the vantage theme menu location, but I’m not sure what text I should replace and where it is? Here’s the code:

Do I need a childtheme and if so, how do I do that?

I had thought it possible to automatically integrate UberMenu with Vantage. You just need to turn off the Vantage Mobile Menu in theme settings and let UberMenu handle that. If that’s not working though then you can automatically integrate using the following child theme:

Install the ZIP from Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme. You’ll also need to turn off the menu search option in theme settings. When you activate a child theme all Appearance > Customize settings will unfortunately need to be re-done. So test this out first before doing that.
