Menu at top of page

There are several threads regarding similar issues. I don’t want it to be sticky – I just want it above the header, at the top of the page. When I look at details for the 2.2.1 upgrade, screenshots show the menu at the top.

That order number is for Vantage Premium.

    Hi Julie

    Thanks for reaching out.

You can choose between the regular Vantage masthead seen here: http://demo.siteorigin.com/vantage/ and the Logo in Menu masthead option. To try out Logo in Menu, go to Appearance > Theme Settings > Layout > Masthead Layout and change it to Logo in Menu.

I don’t want to use a logo. I want a shallow menu across the top, and a header containing my logo and tagline below it. Here’s what I have now: http://juliegomoll.staging.wpengine.com/

    Hi Julie

Sorry for not being clearer. My initial reply was a quick overview of what Vantage can do in terms of the header layout. There unfortunately isn’t a layout option that can shift the menu above the masthead and still maintain the regular masthead.

One option I didn’t mention is that you can also add a Custom Menu widget to the header widget area. There is supporting styling ready for that including drop down menus.
