Masthead Widgets not displayed

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

Dear support,

On my website using the free Vantage theme, under appearance > widgets I have added two widgets (social media & button) to display as masthead widgets. They are not displayed in the masthead on the homepage or any other page. Also, when clicking customizer > widgets it does not display ‘masthead’ as a widget location. It only displays sidebar and footer as possible locations.

It used to display the widgets normally, I’m not sure what changed this. I have changed the display of the Logo from ‘above menu’ to ‘in menu’ recently.

Can you help me with displaying the masthead widgets again? The website is: http://www.ecomodernisten.nl.

Thank you in advance,

Elias

    Hi Elias

    Thanks for posting.

In order to make use of the masthead widget area, you’ll need to change CustomizeTheme SettingsMasthead Layout from Logo in Menu to Default Masthead.

    Hope that helps.
