Masthead widget will not move

I have used the custom css editor to change the setting. In the editor visual mode, the widget appears at the top, which is what I want. When I go the the site, the widget is still positioned in the middle. Does anyone know the reason it is staying in the same position? Any help would be appreciated.

    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Thanks :) I’m not seeing any widgets in the header/masthead. Could you clarify the widget I should be looking at, perhaps the contents of the widgets so I can find it that way. Thanks again.
