Utilizing Vantage Theme and in configuring the masthead with our logo from the General settings and utilizing another image in the same header, I am unable to get the two images to center properly on the smaller smartphone devices. On the iphone 7plus or larger, it is fine. I tried to use the Padding setting, but that didn’t seem to allow me to make changes. Is this something that can be done with a CSS? Please visit itasca-retail.com and use the mobile screen preview function.

Thank you,

Jason Wirl

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jason,

I just had a quick look at your website and it looks like you no longer have two images in your masthead. Would you still like to use two? If so, please readd the second image and I’ll assist with this asap. Sorry about this.

    Alex,

    No problem.

I actually “fixed” the issue last week. Turns out that a colleague had artificially expanded our logo to include some white-space so that it aligned better in the masthead itself. When I took that out, it looks much better, especially responsively.

If you look a bit closer, the text on the right hand part of the masthead is actually an image. The reason is that when I use the SO Editor for text, it has absolutely no respect for any heading font sizes other than “paragraph” and “H1”. If you could take a look at that, I’d appreciate it.

We only apply the customizer defined header sizes to the content area. You’ll need to use CSS if you would like to apply the header size outside of that area – sorry mate.
