I tried to use the Masonry Plugin with the origami theme, all I got is a page with one post title only, and the theme was gone too. What could be the problems?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Tommy
That’s a new one! How did you insert it? You should create your page and then click on the Page Builder tab and insert the Masonry widget, that’s it.
Please check that there are no updates for anything pending under Dashboard > Updates.
Please temporarily disable all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if anything changes.
Thanks Andrew,
It turns out to be the qTranslate plugin which causes the problem. Do you have experience that how this beautiful widget and qTranslate plugin can work together?
Thanks again!
Tommy
That’s a pity. I’ll install qTranslate now and take a look.
I see the issue. I unfortunately don’t see any way around this right now. My suggestion is to look for another Masonry plugin at this stage, one that will work with qTranslate or switch translation plugins. I’d love to say we could look into it right away but it’s more likely to be a while given our current workload. Sorry I don’t have better news.
Thanks Andrew, I totally understand your situation. But one more quick question, what do you mean by looking afor another Masonry plugin? I bet that will be not be as easy as adding a widget into it.
Tommy
it’s me again. The Masonry plugin now works again after I change my qtranslate to mqtranslate. It should be some compatible issues which I couldn’t understand. Anyways, it’s FYI. I’m happy now, just let you know!
Hi Tommy
Super, glad you managed to find a resolution and thanks for sharing.
