Please help with activation of Marketpress in North. My research indicates that Pretty Permalinks is somehow to blame as my error message is Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress. Also when i try to enable it with this message: You must enable Pretty Permalinks to use MarketPress – Enable now ยป it will not enable.
Any help will be much appreciated.

To clarify, are you able to use Marketpress lite if you change to a different theme? If it doesn’t, you should contact the plugin developers to see if they have any ideas.
Try manually setting the permalinks by navigating to WP AdminSettings Permalinks and selecting one of the comment settings (not custom structure) besides plain.

I have given up on Marketpress and moved to WP-Invoice which has installed ok and I now have to go through a learning curve.
I appreciate your work.
I am starting a new business for my young daughters in South Africa and although the business is promising to be good, the website is a real challenge. I am 65 and rather adept at many things but the disciplines in WP is a lot to learn considering I have built many websites in Webplus, which is an easy point-and-do protocol.
If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate your pointers.
