Maps widget not working

Hi, i am using the google maps widget on my site. It is a test environment which will go live soon.

I have an api-key in the settings.
I have the widget set up in this page: http://www.learningdevelopment.nl/test/fm3/contact/ (doesn’t work: site 1)
I have the same widget with a different key live here: http://www.metieracademy.nl/contact/ (works: site 2)

The differences are:
site 1
Wordpress version: 4.7
Widget bundle 1.7.2

Site 2
Wordpress version: 4.4.5
Widget bundle 1.7.1

Google reports that the api is not set. It clearly is in the settings.

Please help.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Metier,

I suspect you don’t have all of the relevant API libraries for this API key enabled. As such, I would recommend recreating your API key. Please navigate to either this page for a dynamic map or this page for a static map.

Once you’ve generated the API, replace your old API key with the new one.

Hi Thank you for this help. What api do i need to activate to get the interactive map with a marker to work?

I have tried multiple, but haven’t been successful.

    Kind regards,

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Metier,

Ideally, I would recommend creating the API key through this link. It’ll automatically enable any of the relevant API libraries for you. This “easy” method of creating the API was created by Google purely due to how confusing the whole API library situation is so they recommend it over manually selecting them.
