Hello there,

My theme is Vantage. I am trying to use Event Manager, and the maps don’t work. I get “Oops, something went wrong” message or a blue window.

I have the API, sometimes the map shows up for a second (on the Preview) and then disappears immediately. I tried different Google Maps plugins on a Page as well, the same issue with all. Tried the SiteOrigin Google Map widget – it doesn’t even show up on the page.

Would you please help?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Express,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    Hi Zhivko,

Very sorry for the delay. Thank you for mentioning the locations link.

The Console is reporting that it’s a UrlAuthenticationCommonError issue. That’s basically a generic error that doesn’t really tell you anything.

So, to clarify, does this issue occur when you change to a different theme? Do this issue occur when you temporarily disable the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle?
