MapPress Plugin and Vantage Theme not working

Hi all,
I am trying to get the Mappress (by Chris Richardson) plugin working on my website. However, the map just won’t show up. I tried pasting the MapID in the text and visual editor widgets but neither worked.
Has anyone had the same problem and was able to fix it?

Regards,
Dennis

    Hi Dennis

Thanks for reaching out. Before we dive in deeper please could you do a little testing. Try using the plugin with a default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen, if you still see a problem try Twenty Fifteen with all other plugins de-activated. In this way you can narrow the problem down…we can dive in from there.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your response. I figured out the problem a few minutes ago. The template actually works fine with the plugin, somehow the code I pasted into the text widget was wrong.

Instead of [mappress id=”1″] I have to use [mappress mapid=”1″] in order to get it working. Not sure why, but I found it in the support forum of the plugin.

    Regards,
    Dennis
