Making Google Maps clickable

9 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 9 years ago

Hello,

I’m using the SiteOrigin Google Maps widget for the first time. I was expecting the marker to be clickable and open in a new tab with the address populated and the marker showing on the map in the new tab. Is this part of the widget’s functionality? Or is there a way that I can add this relatively easily?

I notice that I can really only click on “Google” and it shows the map area in a new tab but without the address or marker.

Thanks.

    Hi Chelyapov,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without some custom coding. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.

If you need this urgently, you could always post a job on Codeable.
