Making Corp theme Main Nav stretch full-width of browser

Sorry if there is documentation already on how to do this, but how do I make this Corp theme header nav (and footer section) stretch full-width to the browsers width? All I try is still sticking within the main container and not going full-width “stretched”. Thoughts?
