Make one widget determine height of row

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

Hi there,

I’m trying to insert a Twitter feed on one of my pages, but it blows out the height of the page unless I set a specific height for the widget.

What I’d really like is for the widget to match the height of the main content.

The page in particular that I am using has only one row with two columns.

The left columns holds the main content in a SiteOrigin Editor widget and the right column holds the Twitter feed in a Custom HTML widget.

I’d like the SiteOrigin Editor Widget to determine the height of the row and for the Twitter widget to just be as long as it’s allowed to be.

Is there a way to do that?

I hope it makes sense.

You can see the page here, although I’ve currently set a specific height on the Twitter widget: https://playpauseplay.com/send-in-your-music/

    Hi Penmonicus,

Unfortunately, while it is possible to make one widget determine the column size (here’s how), it won’t help with the Twitter embed (as it’s not direct widget). Your only real option in this situation is to limit the height of the embed directly. Sorry mate. :(
