Hi, I am a registered ThinkupThemes member and use your Pagebuilder via their download.
Unfortunately, I have been experiencing problem using the Mailpoet Newsletter plugin. It appears that the Pagebuilder plugin is causing a conflict. If I deactivate this plugin then all is fine when I edit text within Mailpoet. However, when activated no editing can be done. I cannot keep the plugin deactivated as it affects my Experon Theme – can you help please?
Regards
Hi Growit,
The Think Up Themes version of SiteOrigin page Builder is actually different to the standard version of SiteOrigin Page Builder. Their version is a fork (read: a version based on our code) of an older version of our plugin. As such, there are functionality differences that can lead to issues with other plugins. I would recommend contacting Think Up Themes about this issue as it’s not something we can really help with as we aren’t the developers of that version.
Hopefully this makes sense.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for the quick response. I will get in touch with ThinkUpThemes.
Do you think I could use your version instead of theirs? I guess it's something I could try.
Thanks again
Dave
Hi Growit,
You’re more than welcome to switch, but please be aware that there is a version difference (as in there’s been a lot changes to how it works now) and if you’re using any of the included Think Up Themes widgets you will likely run into issues as they won’t be in the main version.
