Hi Support
The Site Origin buttons are no longer displaying the graphic for any of the tools when editing in WordPress The square for the button is visable as are the tooltips when rolled over but not the tool graphic – see below
I have moved the site location to a different folder 1 level up, to the root on the same server and since cannot get the tool graphic on any Site Origin buttons to display when editing any of the pages within WordPress. Is there a path I need to edit to point to the graphics on the buttons ? All the functions are working just not displaying properly.
Thanks
Perri
Hi Perri,
This is a CORS issue. Could you please send me the contents of your console when you’re on that page? Please follow this guide on how to access your browsers console.

Hi PRL63,
I’m still certain it’s a CORS issue (please follow the link in my previous post to resolve to learn how to resolve it), but to prevent myself from being closed minded I would like to view your website to confirm this. Based on your response it appears this happens on your normal site also. As such, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

Hi Alex – thanks for latest message and suggestion – The SiteOrgin plugins I have installed are both latest versions these are:
SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle – 1.5.11
Page Builder by SiteOrigin – 2.4.6
If its not a CORS issue is there any other alternative plugin that may be conflicting ? – I have run de-bug mode and tried deactivating all of my other plugins to see if that resolves it but so far that’s not solved it. I have also updated to WordPress 4.5 and the problem is still present.
Regards
Perri
Hi PRL63,
It’s possible, but as you’ve run a basic plugin conflict test, unlikely.
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

Hi PRL63,
The issue is WebMan Amplifier. The exact issue is here highlighted in the below image.

Basically, it changes the font family and thus breaks in the icons. I’m not too sure how to fix this issue but I’ll put in an issue about it regardless.

Hi Perri,
Please remove the user.
The issue itself is a complicated one. I’m unable to provide you with a reliable fix at this time and this will likely have to be fixed in an update. I don’t expect Fontello to issue an update to resolve this issue as it’s not really completely their fault.
As such you have two options: Change theme (not recommended for obvious reasons – it’s a huge change just to resolve an icon issue only you see), or wait for an update. Sorry. :(
Hi Alex,
Thanks for the reply and your thoughts. I will wait for an update and hopefully it will be fixed in that – on reflection its not really an issue to me as I know what each of the icons do so I can work around it. At least I am re-assured now, with your help, that I haven’t done something silly in my installation as this is my first WordPress site.
Once again many thanks for your perseverance to help with this issue.
Regards
Perri
