Love the vantage theme! Just checked my site and for some reason it is now showing the logo in a table above the menu. I have the theme set to logo in menu but it doesnt work. It was not changed on my end and just started to show up like this today. Please help this is a demo site and client is checking it shortly.

Logo in menu doesn’t work nor does creating a widget to replace the header seems something is blocking any of these changes. Has anyone else had this issue and what is the work around. Right now I have to leave it with the logo ontop of the menu and it looks terrible and also menu has no padding below it. So frustrating as I’m not a newby. How do you roll back theme to older version? I have a feeling something screwd me when there was an update. Ugg so many hours trying to fix it
Hi Lisa,
Unfortunately, we can’t seem to replicate this issue locally or on your website. Did you manage to resolve this issue? If not, can you please show me a screenshot of what you’re seeing? We’re currently unable to process attachments so you’ll need to upload the screenshot to a third party image hosting site like Imgur or vgy.me.
Regarding widgets not working, the Header and Masthead widget areas are disabled when the Logo In Menu Masthead are in use.
I was using my child theme. I switched to the parent theme for now since the client is viewing this and then I’ll be moving it to his server. Is it safe to use just the parent theme when I move it or is it still suggested to use a child theme? I fear that after time on his server this would happen again if I use a child theme.
Thanks so much for your assistance with this!
Hi Lisa,
There’s no requirement for using a child theme with Vantage. I personally recommend only using a child theme if you’re directly editing template files (ie. WP AdminAppearanceEditor).
We recommend using Duplicator or All-in-One WP Migration to migrate your website to a differnet server.
That’s great, love this theme! Thank you for your assistance Alex : )
