Hi! I recently updated my Vantage premium website to the latest version of WordPress and updated a bunch of plugins that required updating. Since then my logo and the meta slider are not showing on mobile devices (ie: iPad and iPhone). Before I go and deactivate my plugins to see if there’s a conflict there, I thought I’d check to see if anyone else is experiencing the same problem. The logo and metaslider work perfectly on a PC.
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Claire
Hi Claire
Sorry to hear about the hassle. Your logo and slider ok on my iPhone using Chrome. Do you perhaps have another mobile device you could test from?
Thanks
Hi Andrew,
Maybe it’s a Safari issue then as I’m using Safari on my iPad and iPhone. Just checked on a Nokia android phone and it works ok. Is there a way of fixing it on Safari?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the wait and update. This seems to be a Safari bug with certain types of JPG. Do you have the originals and a photo editing app? If you do, please, try re-saving the JPGS and don’t use Progressive mode.
Your about page image does work so we might just need to change the way the slider and logo images are saved to fix the issue.
Hi Andrew,
Your suggestion worked. I resaved the header and it appeared in Safari and then I saved the metaslider images as jpg as they were png files. It’s all working correctly now. I appreciate your help.
Regards
Claire
Awesome :) Glad to hear you made progress.
All the best.
