Hi there,
I am in the process of building a new website, and was so happy to find the Influence theme, as it has precisely the left-oriented slider menu I was looking for. However, I’ve run into a couple of issues that are causing me to think I may not be able to stick with it after all. Specifically:
– Having uploaded my logo, my Menu button is overlapping it, and becoming barely visible, since there’s a similar colour. Ideally, I’d like to be able to put said menu in the padding between the header and the page, or at least change the colour of the font so it pops a bit more.
– Rather than disappearing when I scroll down as it did on my other sites, the logo remains static at the top of the screen, taking up half the reading space. I’d really like to be able to change that, and make it part of the page that appears and disappears as the reader scrolls up or down. I’m afraid I don’t like the scale to scroll function, as it makes things look untidy and too busy.
Could you offer any guidance on changing these settings? I’d be gutted to have to change themes at this stage.
Many thanks,
Rowan
Hi Rowan,
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
2. Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Site Identity. Unset your logo and then go up a menu. Go to Theme SettingsLogo and set your Logo there. Tick Scale Logo on Scroll and save. How does that look?
1. If one this is still an issue – do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
