Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

Hi Altis,
Thanks. You seem to have a very large permission problem going on that I suspect may be causing this issue. For example, this is the base WordPress editor (without Page Builder enabled):
I would recommend checking the permissions of your WordPress assets and plugins. WordPress recommends that files are 644 and directories are 755. If you need assistance with doing this I would recommend contacting your hosting provider.
From my Hosting provider:-
We’ve checked this case and found that your site files and folders under your public_html have been set with correct permissions, and just wanted to be sure, I ran the following command in your shell account to set them recursively in any of your sub-folders inside your public_html folder:
Code:
find . -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \; && find . -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \;
So now, your files permission have been set to 644 and folders/sub-folders permission to 755 .
Awaiting your response.
Thank you

Hi Altis,
The 403 errors remain. :(
To clarify, when did the live editor issues start occurring? Did anything change around the time that these errors started occurring?
Just to confirm, what do you see when you view the base WordPress editor (WP AdminPostsAdd New)? Could you send me a screenshot of that?
To clarify, you can access the above-pictured errors via your browser’s console. Please refer to this guide on how to access your browser console.

Hi Altis,
That’s fine, it purely so you could see them and confirm something me. I wanted to confirm there weren’t any security settings in place that prevented me from accessing those assets (there isn’t as you’re affected by the same issue).
To clarify, what update are you referring too? WordPress? SiteOrigin Page Builder?
Can you please try temporarily disabling all plugins to see if your base editor returns to normal? The base editor in your picture is actually broken. For reference, this is how it is meant to look:

Hi Altis,
The above screenshot (and below) is a full list. You can also access it by viewing the console.
At this stage, yes. It doesn’t appear to be related to WordPress directly (it’s not related to any plugin or theme) so it’s in the hands of your hosting provider. Once the issue is resolved, I’ll be able to look into it further if the Page Builder issues remain (although it’s unlikely at this stage).

Hi Altis,
Are you able to make adjustments to the hero widget now? I just tried and was able to make edits without issue. If you can’t, can you please link me to the page you’re trying to make adjustments to so I can try editing that page?

i am trying to add a new page or post using Prebuild Layout. But live Editor is not working…
Hi Altis,
Okay so to clarify, is the issue that the images don’t appear? If so, that’s because the prebuilt layout images aren’t hosted on a secure connection (not HTTPS) so they’re being blocked by your browser as you’re using HTTPS. You should be able to change the image without issue by editing the widget itself.
If that’s not the issue, could you please elaborate? I was able to change the hero image in the pictured layout via the live editor without issue.

ok i understand now. Seems working now… images i need to unload on my end.
Hi Altis,
That’s odd. As you can see by viewing the above-pictured page, I’ve been able to do both. So to clarify, at what stage are you unable to proceed:
Open Live Editor
Open Hero Widget (or click hero widget on page)
Open Hero Frame
Add Text to Hero Frame
Close Hero
Save Page

Hi Altis,
Okay – I see an issue with your editor. It happens regardless of the live editor (try opening the editor widget via Page Builder and not through live editor) and appears to a be a plugin conflict.
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue. Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If the aboe doesn’t help, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

Hi Altis,
Thanks for letting me know about the conflict with FormCraft – I’ll make note of it.
Hi Altis,
Actually, I can’t seem to replicate the conflict with FormCraft locally. To clarify, are you using the free version or the premium version?
Form craft wordress plugin free versionĀ
