Live Editor going to another page

Hi,
I am facing multiple issues.

1. When I make a page using Page Builder and have to go back to it to make changes, it defaults into the Text editor and when I click on the Page Builder Editor option – it gives me the prompt “”Would you like to copy this editor’s existing content to Page Builder?”. When I do say yes, it opens up the page builder editor with widgets etc, but the formatting and styles are lost within some of them.
2. When I click the Live editor – it shows a random page from my blog page rather than the page I am trying to edit. I can edit the individual widgets, but the same problem arises when I save it and go back it to, the formatting etc is lost.

Please help!

    Hi Karan

    Thanks for reaching out.

    1. It sounds like there might be a JavaScript error on the page causing Page Builder to fail. Try checking for a working baseline. If you temporarily deactivate all plugins except for Page Builder, does the issue resolve?

    2. This sounds related to the error in point 1.

Please, give the above test a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi,
Thanks for such a quick reply. After poking around for a while, found a temporary solution. The "post carousel" widget was causing the error. On removing it/deactivating it, everything works just fine.

So for now, I am not using the post carousel widget.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the update! The Post Carousel Widget shouldn’t be causing any issues with Page Builder’s normal functionality. If you’d like to troubleshoot the issue, please, start with a baseline test. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and Page Builder by SiteOrigin. In that state, do the two issues persist?
