Links in footer don’t work

Hi, I am using the Vantage Premium and I added some images with links to the footer.

Home Page Biewer Terrier & Biewer Yorkie

Unfortunately the links (new tab) doesn’t work. It only shows (screenshot attached)

Can somebody help me fix this please?

Thank you.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Karen,

That loading effect isn’t a part of the standard Vantage theme so it’s quite possible this is a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

By the way; as you’re a Vantage Premium user, you’re entitled to priority email support. If you would like to make use of that, please follow the instructions found on this page. Please reference this thread.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.
I did as you described below and it is the plugin “NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati” that is causing the problem. I deactivated the plugin, but now I don’t have any of my galleries working. Each dog had a gallery :(

    What can I do?

I contacted Premium Support as you suggested but I did not hear from them.

    Thanks,
    Karen

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Karen,

Sadly we’re experiencing a higher than normal premium support load at the moment. I’m currently being trained to support the premium support team but until my training is complete the premium support team will be understaffed to handle the current increased load. I’ve actually been assigned to your ticket due to my initial reply.

While I’ve emailed you a reply via our ticketing system I’ll repeat it here for the sake of transparency.

I’ve looked over the setting and managed to find the what is causing this issue. Please open up your WP Admin and navigate to Gallery > Other Options. Open the “Lightbox Effects” grouping and change the “what must the lightbox be applied to?” setting to “Try to apply to all images that link to image files”. This way you’ll still get the desired effect of lightbox on images that aren’t specifically added via a gallery but at the same time, it won’t affect linked images that link to other pages.

    That worked. Thank you.
