Hi,
Thanks for the Widgets Bundle which I use it a lot building a society official website.
I’m using Widgets Bundle 1.7.1 on WordPress 4.2.9.
The
in Image widget’s title worked fine before updated to current version of Widgets Bundle. The layout of title I want to do is like
Chief Director
Prof. Chang, Ph.D.
So I put a
after Director, but this doesn’t do the job anymore.
Suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Cheers!
PS
Hi Benson,
Would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout. Then click import / export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for your reply. Exports uploaded here

Hi Benson,
Thanks. Okay so to clarify, what version were you previously using? I can’t seem to find any changes made in the last four months that would remove line breaks.
Hi Alex,
I can’t remember exact version number but must be older than 1.7. Please let me know if there’s a way to check previously installed version. Thank you.
Hi Benson,
Unfortunately, there’s no way to do that. :(
When do you think (time wise, for example: I installed this website in early June) you installed the plugin? I’ll be able to work out the version based on that.
Hi Alex,
The page was created around Jun 22 2016 9 a.m. ~ 12 p.m. UTC+8, and I installed the website in Aug 12 ~ 14 2015.
Hi Benson,
Give 1.6 a try. Please navigate to WP AdminPluginsInstalled Plugins and find and deactivate the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, then delete it. Click Add NewUpload Plugin and upload / activate the this version.
Hi Alex,
1.6 doesn’t work. Then I tried 1.5.5, which is the first version Image widget support title, and it works. Now I’m using 1.5.11. Thank you very much for your support!
Btw, do you mind suggest me with plugin doing plugin version control that kind of job? I better start tracking…
Hi Benson,
Thanks for letting me know. I’ll look into it.
I’m having a hard time understanding your sentence. Are you suggesting that we should use version control? If so, we actually do. I just didn’t look back far enough.
Hi Alex,
Sorry about my lousy sentence!
I’m saying if I want to track plugins’ versions I’ve ever installed on my site, is there a plugin for this purpose? Thank you.
Hi Benson,
Ah, thanks for that.
So, the only thing that comes to mind is VersionPress but that likely isn’t as descriptive as you would need it to be.
Sorry mate, this isn’t really something I’ve previously looked for.
Hi Alex,
NP. Thanks for the info.
