Limit number of posts in query for Posts Carousel

Hi,

I’m trying to build a new post carousel and I’ve built a query that pulls back 100+ posts. I’ve set it to show 4 posts per page, but I’m wanting to limit the query to bring back the 8 most recent posts that match the query criteria.

So it shows the 4 newest posts, people can scroll to see the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th newest posts, but then it loops round to the start. At the moment it keeps going until the end of the query

Is there a way around this?

    Hi Nathan,

    Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without some custom coding at this time. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.

    If you need this urgently, you could always post a job on Codeable.
