Like button discount code no longer working.

Hi all, I relatively recently started a website and i’m delighted to use Vantage, of which I very quickly got premium. In the header (widget) i have a Facebook button which when clicked, spits out a 10% discount code that can be used at the checkout. Recent WordPress and theme updates have not stopped this working. I haven’t changed anything on the Facebook end of things. I just wondered if anyone knew how to fix this? I’m not too compliant in HTML or code, but i have a friend who is. Any advice is welcome as this can be passed on to someone who knows what to do!

    Hi James

    Thanks for your support.

    To narrow things down, try de-activating all plugins and switch to a default theme like Twenty Fifteen. You’ll then need to insert your FB code into one of its widget areas at Appearance > Widgets.

    If the FB like button is dependent on WooCommerce or has a plugin driving it, leave those plugins activated.

    We’re basically stripping everything out that could conflict with the button, that way we’ll know if the problem is with the button code or if a conflict is the issue.

    Thank you Andrew. I disabled all plugins, changed to another theme. then back to Vantage and reactivated and now it seems to work! No idea!
