HI there, I am interested in buying the premium bundle but I need to know if I will be able to add lightbox to my hero widget.
I am trying to have the slides i have built with hero (images AND text) appear as a lightbox when a link above the slide is clicked. (not when the slide itself is clicked as i want that to remain functional as an smaller option on the page)
is this possible with premium? are there other widgets more compatible with siteorigin?
I have seen on other threads you have suggested using just the slider widget but that does not support text in the frame…

The Lightbox Addon has support for the following widgets:
SiteOrigin Image Widget
SiteOrigin Image Grid Widget
SiteOrigin Simple Masonry Widget
SiteOrigin Slider Widget
Unfortunately, it isn’t possible with this addon to open a lightbox with a link and then display a widget in the lightbox.
You could try using a plugin like Popup Maker, activate Popups at Settings > Page Builder > Post Types and then copy your Hero into the Popup and then choose the appropriate method to trigger the popup from a link.

I have downloaded the popup maker and I think the pro version may be able to do what i need it to.
One other question for you. A good bit of my website requires text OVER images. I have been using the hero widget, which I love, however I see now that setting the background image means it doesnt register in YOASTS.
Infact, none of my content is picked up, It says I have nO content on my pages. I have thousands of words of text and many images. Is there any sort of work-around for this. It is important that the images remain as they are, as background, but they are pertinent and I want them to apply to my
SEO. is there a plug-in or something?
Glad to hear you’re making progress. I tried with the free version, you can enable Page Builder for popups and open from a link, that should be all you need.
Please, send us one of your pages that you’re working on. Export the layout Page Builder: LayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout. Upload it to a site like WeTransfer.com (any email address can be used) or the cloud site of your choice.

For the pop-ups, the free version does not let me at a background photo to the text, only the pro version. Which means I would have to either post an image or text content, put can not do text overlayed on top of an image with the free version. Not that big of a deal, happy to pay for a plug in if I know it will do what i need.
I am having trouble finding where i can import/export the layout. I see that I can do that for an individual row, but not for the whole page. I am sure I am just missing something.
Hi :) Are you using Popup Maker? You can use Page Builder. I can’t advise much further but here is what I see: https://imgur.com/a/0sPHzO5. Once you’re in Page Builder, use a SiteOrigin Editor widget to insert the image you’re after.
On any Page Builder page click LayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout.
