Layout slider with hero

Hello,
I used a layout slider on www.waardenhuis.nl/testpagina.
To add some text on a transparant image i user siteorigin hero.
When the page opens the height of the slider is smaller than i want.
After that all is ok. The height is as i want.
The theme i use is Origami.
Is ther a fix for this?
With regards,
Jan

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jan

Thanks for posting and providing the test page. Please, could you let me know, is there a particular Layout Slider on the page you’d like me to inspect? I’m not quite sure which one has an issue at the moment. On my end, they all look ok. If you could perhaps let me know which one to check, I’ll try to advise further or alternatively, explain what’s happening and perhaps provide an alternative solution.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks, Jan. If possible, please, could you edit the page, click LayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout and then upload the JSON file to a site like wetransfer.com and send me the link? I can then load the layout locally and try and resolve the issue.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks for the link.

The Layout Slider has 260px height set while the Hero widgets have 200px set. It seems the Layout Slider is overriding the Hero height after the first slide. Not too sure why but you should be able to avoid this issue by either increasing all of the Hero widgets height or by removing the Layout Slider height.

    Hope that helps :)

    Hello Andrew
This solution did nog really work.
I tried increasing the height for the 1st frame of the hero to 260px
Result was een big bleu background. But the height was ok.
Do you have any other ideas?
My goal is transparant backgrounds for the hero.
    With regards,
    Jan

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi Jan, I’m having trouble re-creating the issue locally, I have tried. Please, could you show me the issue and I’ll help from there? If you want, you can create a test page and then within Page Builder go to LayoutsClone: Pages. You could then show me the issue on the cloned page. Please, set the height of all the Hero widgets in the Layout Slider to 260, thanks :)

    Hi Andrew,
I’ve made a copy of the slider on waardenhuis/testslider/
The one on top is with all the heights of the Hero’s set to 260px
The second one is to show how i would like it. Except for the 1st empty slide.
Hope you can find out what goes wrong.
If you need more information, please let me know.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks, Jan, the page doesn’t show as published on my end: https://waardenhuis.nl/testslider/. Please, can you try testing with another browser or not logged in? Is the page published?

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi Jan, thanks for hanging in there with us. At the moment, I, unfortunately, can’t find an easy solution to this problem. Within our premium support scope, we have the budget to assist using Custom CSS. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible within our free support scope. Smart Slider 3 has a slider in their free examples that’s quite similar to what you’re after. You can view the demo here: https://smartslider3.com/feature-slider/. Do you think that might work for you? To give it a go you’d install the Smart Slider 3 plugin, go to Smart Slider > Template Library, locate the Feature Slider and click the Import button.
