Layout ruined after update

I am not totally sure this is SiteOrigin PageBuilder but i think so. After update all the SiteOrigin “Hero”s are messed up. The weird thing is that they still show up normal in LIVE EDITOR

What changed? I also tried to update WP and all the plugins but it did not help

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi LiSkynd,

Can you try following our general WordPress plugin troubleshooting guide? From the sounds of things, this might fix your issue. Here’s a video on the process:

The first thing to check is server-side caching through plugins like W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, etc. If you have any of these caching/performance plugins installed, try clearing their cache and see if that helps.

It might also be browser cache. Try clearing your browser cache, and then refreshing the page to see if that helps.

You can read more about this sort of issue on the WordPress codex.

Next, you can try running a plugin conflict text. You can start by disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

Thanks Alex S. I will try those but meanwhile … The one that was messing up something was the update that included Accordion
    1.10.0 – 11 October 2017
I now rolled back the version 1.9.10 – 14 September 2017 and it fixed the Heros on my front page but did not fix the Heros on other pages. I now have to look what did i do differently on those pages.

I am not sure but it looked like something was messing up the CSS … the pages look like its all without CSS, if you know what i mean.

I now try to post screenshots again …. Why is the IMG not working?

    Shoul look like this

    But looks like this

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi LiSkynd,

Please note that as this isn’t a widespread issue, it’s highly likely that plugin update is conflicting with another one of your plugins. While you can remain on that older version of the plugin we’ll be unable to work towards fixing this issue if you don’t run a plugin conflict on the latest version of the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle to identify the conflicting plugin.

I’ve corrected your image URLs and they’re now displaying correctly.

OK. I think it could be the Theme then cause i tried disabling all the plugins. The theme is Ultra By Puro.

Thanks for the help. I try to find the conflict :)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi LiSkynd,

We’re very familiar with Ultra so we don’t think that’s the cause. Unless you’re using an older version – is there an update available? Also, is the issue occurring for you at the moment? I ask because I just had another look and it appears to be working correctly. If it’s working for you also, can you please restore the latest version of the Siteorigin Widgets Bundle?

To confirm, does the issue remain after disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and then clearing your browser cache?

Sorry for late reply … but yes, the theme is up to date and the other pages are still looking like the SiteOrigin Hero’s look like they dont load CSS for some reason … or something.
The weirdest of weird thing is that the layout still look normal when viewing it on LIVE EDITOR. I made a screen capture video…

The front page looks like it should but the other pages dont, see this for example:

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi LiSkynd,

Thanks for the link. According to the markup of the page, its referencing old cache CSS files which is why it’s not working. Do you have a page cache plugin>? I ask because that would explain why these files are still referenced. If so, please clear your page cache.

If you don’t, can you please make a change to the linked page. It doesn’t matter what change you make, just as long as it’s a change to either the hero widget or the headline widget (both widget have outdated CSS references).

    Hi again Alex S
    i got it fixed finally!!!

Sorry but nothing that you suggested seemed to help, so my last idea was to clone the whole site to another sub domain. I wasnt so thrilled about that tho cause i was thingking that it will just clone everything.

    BUT IT DID :O
Here’s the exact same page on different sub domain
    http://www.456testing.djwelho.com/hinnasto/

I dont know what happened … maybe there was something wrong with the WP installation.

Oh and to your question Do you have a page cache plugin? Do i did not have in the beginning, but i installed one during this matter and tried to clear the cache but that didnt help either … maybe thats why you saw what you saw :)

Case closed. Thank you Alex for you time :)
