I’m using Max Mega Menu.
I added the layout builder to a menu tab.
Every time I click Open Builder it gives me the builder and works like it should. But when I’m done and close it there is a duplicate layout builder open in the background that I have to close as well. It is opening it up twice because the one in the back is the same content but before I made changes.
The first few times it happened it was very confusing because I couldn’t tell if it was saving my changes properly but it did. But if I was to resave the duplicate one that opens up underneath, it will save it as that one instead potentially removing my changes on the top one.

That’s odd. I suspect something else might be getting triggered upon opening the layout builder. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins (leave Max Mega Menu enabled) and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Just did all of that and it did not make any difference. Something in the code is asking it to open up the editor a second time or if the editor is installed twice so it calls twice, but I can’t see how it would be. Even after disabling all plugins and changing the theme I still have the same problem.
I noticed the Page Builder plugin updated 5 hours ago and it didn’t fix the problem.
