Latest Site Origin Page Builder update breaks the editor

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Hi,
Seeing other threads reporting the same issue, I have experienced the same issue after the latest Site Origin Page Builder updates – 2.11.7
Seeing one thread that mentioned a conflict with the RankMath SEO Plugin, I deactivated it and the edit view of pages returned to normal with all the Page Builder layout.

Now, all was working fine before the update, including the RankMath SEO plugin. It would appear that the Site Origin updates have caused the problem. I have never experienced any problem with either the Site Origin Page Builder or the RankMath SEO plugin and, when something does go wrong, I look for the last thing to change. And this is the Site Origin Page Builder update.

While the site can work without RankMath there was not a problem before the latest Site Origin Page Builder update so please investigate why there is a conflict.

Thanks

    Hi Anthony

    Thanks for reaching out.

I can see a console error present from RankMath but it isn’t impacting my ability to use Page Builder and RankMath locally. It’s possible there is an update issue with RankMath, a few posts here https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/seo-by-rank-math/.

Please, try checking for a baseline. Does the issue resolve if you temporarily deactivate all plugins except for those authored by SiteOrigin and RankMath?
