Keeping So but editing the content with another plugin

Hey,

So I am creating a WordPress Website for a friend using Site-Origins page builder.

Unfortunately, my friend has never used WordPress before and when it comes to editing content easily with Site-Origin it can get confusing. With all sorts of different helpful, but extra tools in the editor someone who has never used Site Origin before will more than likely break something in the progress of trying to edit a small bit of content.

This is why I’ve decided to download the plugin “Editus” that allows users to edit content from the front-end. This with Site-Origin is extraordinary. However, because the plugin is calling the class “.entry-content” I am not able to edit the content inside of the Site-Origins widgets.

Does anyone know if there is a class Site-Origin uses just for the content section?

(PS. I am a newbie when it comes to Web Development)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Joey,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without some custom coding. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.

Consider using something like Elementor or Beaver Builder instead. It will require rebuilding your pages but you’ll be able to use the same widgets as before.

If you need this urgently, you could always post a job on Codeable.
