Jump to page section from main nav
Hey guys, I’m building a small site with a parallax scroll homepage and a few secondary pages. I set up a main nav with jump-to-section links that work nicely when on the home page. From my secondary pages, however, the links don’t work since the custom link has a section-id based on the homepage? Can you show me an option for linking to my section-ids from my secondary pages?
An example of a site I was looking to that uses this function is:
Their main nav effectively jumps to a section-id of the homepage from any of their pages.
My URL is located at http://imsone.com/cox/
Thanks again!

3Hi Mjordan
You’d just need to prefix the section ID with your home page URL:
http://mysite.com/#section-id
That’ll link to the section on the home page and work from any page.
Hope that helps.
Thanks.
Sorry, that was a little obvious as I’d found your suggestion in other” jump to page section” research. Firefox is a little rough hitting the section accurately, but Chrome works great. I thought using the http://mysite.com/ in the link would create a new page load each time from the home page. I stand corrected.
I do have a concern with another site that I will start a new thread for – malware notifications and a hidden iframe I hope you guys can help with.
Thanks again.
For sure. I’ll pickup that other thread as soon as I can.
Thanks.
