This is a very strange conflict that has occurred. When Jetpack plugin is activated it is removing the paragraphs on certain areas of my site. On the homepage for example:
Over the past decade, Tutors & Futures has worked with hundreds of students across the world, offering a bespoke provision to each and every family.
We are renowned as one of the leading companies in the industry.
This is the case on multiple other pages but disappears when I deactivate Jetpack. Furthermore, with Jetpack activated, there are certain pages which I cannot edit – either because the visual editor doesn’t appear or because I get a blank white screen. Can anybody help?

Hi
It’s hard to say what the issue might be. You can try the following:
– Activate only Jetpack and SiteOrigin plugins; deactivate all other plugins.
– Can you find a working baseline? Each of the abovementioned issues should be tested separately as they aren’t necessarily the same problem.
– If you can’t find a working baseline, go to http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modules, replacing yourdomain with your actual domain URL. Take note of the modules you’re using, and then temporarily deactivate all Jetpack modules. Are you able to find a working baseline?
Thank you again Andrew.
I isolated the issue as being Jetpack module – Markdown. I must say I don’t really know what it does but that was the one affecting the paragraphing. I have reactivated all other plugins and, at least for now, it looks good.
Hi
“Markdown is used by writers and bloggers who want a quick and easy way to write formatted text without having to take their hands off the keyboard and without learning a lot of complicated codes and shortcuts.”
I’m glad to hear you’ve made progress and everything is back to normal! Thanks for keeping us updated.
Cheers for now.
Andrew
